SISSY CALDWELL
PAST PRESIDENT
Native East Tennessean who retired from TVA in 2003 as Vice President of Investor Relations. Her experience at TVA also included strategic planning, communications, and human resources. She is a jewelry artist who began off-loom beading and working with precious metal clay shortly after she retired. Sissy is active in the art community, serving on the Board of the Art Market Gallery from 2011 to 2013 and as President in 2012, as organizer and President of the ET Precious Metal Clay Guild from 2010 to 2012, and as a juried member of the Townsend Artisan Guild. Sissy has also been actively engaged in church and philanthropic activities, including serving as an elder in the Presbyterian Church, as a member of the Advocacy Task Force of the Women’s Fund of East Tennessee, and as a member of the Advisory Committee for the New Opportunity for Women Program at Maryville College. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She enjoys living in Maryville close to the Smoky Mountains and spending time with her husband and two children.
