SCHOLARSHIPS
Did you know that the Foothills Craft Guild provides scholarships to anyone that resides in the state of Tennessee? We want to encourage and support emerging artists as well as established artists seeking new or expanded skills by offering craft scholarships to residents of the state of Tennessee, at least 18 years old. This includes Guild members. Donations, grants, and memorials are the source for funds for these scholarships. Please consider supporting the Guild for this effort.
Scholarship awards are available for workshops, conferences, seminars or classes in crafts that are recognized by the Foothills Craft Guild. The scholarships are not intended to be for college degree programs. Guild members and non-members may seek any juried category of the Guild. The scholarship award will cover 1/2 of the tuition or workshop fee, up to $250. The number of scholarships awarded each year will be determined by available funding. Members receiving a scholarship must wait three years before applying for another scholarship. Non-members are only eligible for one scholarship. |
