JUDI TALLEY
MEMBER AT LARGE
Native Knoxvillian, a member of the East Tennessee Precious Metal Clay Guild, and a certified Metal Clay Instructor through Art Clay World. She has an extensive background in computers (a BS in Computer Science from UT and twenty years’ experience in the field), twelve years’ experience as an independent contractor doing everything from building computers to producing marketing materials and doing the books for local non-profits. While she has only been a full-time artist for five years, she has always been involved in some form of craft or creation throughout her life. She has worked since early childhood learning how to use different media to express the beauty of her East Tennessee home. After discovering Precious Metal Clay in 2011 and rediscovering off-loom bead weaving, Judi dove head first into jewelry creation and eventually juried into the Foothills Craft Guild in 2016. She was elected to the Board in 2018 and is the coordinator of First Friday volunteer opportunities.
