University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduate. After college worked in every aspect of retail from management and marketing to purchasing and shipping and receiving. Working in outside sales the last 24+ years she managed to carve out time to learn how to build stained glass. Denaé worked with a local contractor building lamps for Ruby Tuesday’s. She began working on her own as the contractor for lamp repairs for Ruby’s until the re-modeling of the stores. Married Wayne Oglesby in 2001. Have two (2) step-daughters, Renee & Emily and 6 grandchildren. In 2003 Denaé started experimenting making glass jewelry. Completing the Rio Grande PMC certification in 2009 expanded her technical & creative knowledge for making Fine Silver jewelry. Completed an Art Clay certification in 2013.
